In a short press conference, team manager Toni spoke about the troubles on finding a new team leader.
"After miserably failing to hire a new leader, we've decided to hire veteran TTer Morgan Arendse as a temporary measure to prevent the collapse of the team. Unbelievably, all our negotiations collapsed. It was something we had to do. However, I feel we have found a very nice cobbler."
This cobbler is Malaysian Kaliapan Abdullah, whose potential Toni refers to as "being enough to win the Tweedaagse van Antwerpen". Some might say he is too old to be trained, but Toni firmly believes that age won't matter. "We'll train him fast."
A longer press conference is to be held in the next days where the new roster will be formally presented and questions asked.

Good luck with Mori, really nice rider, too bad you won't be able to let him race TvA this season. I guess the plan is to get back to Top Division now? :)
If he maxes early, I could be interested. I'm training a cobbler (Lee), and have another waiting to train (Tan). Malaysia poor road conditions could no be so bad for his riders!
I hope Arendse doesn't retire at his nearest birthday :) Good luck training Abdullah, I also bought a cobbler trainee today, but his training will probably start next season.
